| Blazers Win in Extras | Fans who congregated at Golden Gate Park were treated to extra-inning drama.
The Bloomington Blazers trumped the San Francisco Earthquakes, 5-2, at Golden Gate Park. Bloomington right fielder Mike Burge was named player of the game for his performance. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Bloomington reliever Matt Comrie picked up the win to move to 2-0. Owen Lewis suffered the loss.
The Blazers got a big at-bat from shortstop T.J. Little. For the game, Little was 1 for 4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the tenth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Bloomington a 4-2 lead.
