| Cacti Jolt Racers with Late Rally | Albuquerque and Bowling Green duked it out at Top of the Hill and the Cacti came out victorious.
The Bowling Green Racers got a superb performance from pitcher Alejandro Ortega. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Albuquerque. The Cacti won the game, 4-2. In spite of the loss, Ortega was named the player of the game. He threw 7 innings allowing 2 runs. Izumo Ikarashi, credited with the win, is now 8-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. Guo-xiu Du, credited with the save, is now 3 for 4 in save opportunities.
John Rose aided the Albuquerque cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth. For the game, the third baseman drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Rose said after the game.
