| Rhinos Walk Off with Win | Rubber City rode a decent outing from starter Katsutaro Nishikawa to victory over the Portland Beavers at The Rubber Grounds. The final score was 4-2. Rubber City reliever Tomoyuki Kiyomizu was credited with the win, to go to 1-2. Son Mai took the loss for Portland. The Beavers, now 19-12, continue their sluggish start.
Rubber City won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With no outs and Son Mai on the mound for Portland, first baseman Robbie Sarmiento hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Rhinos fans to their feet.
Sarmiento told a Rubber City Herald reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
