| Paczkis Bang Out 8-4 Win Versus Minneapolis | Minneapolis designated hitter Jason Leahy had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Leahy hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice, even as Canton beat the Freeze, 8-4. Leahy was named the player of the game despite the loss. Sang-joon Sohn earned the win for Canton. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 6 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 3-3. Chris Long was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 5 save opportunities.
Dallas Fugate, who is tied for 7th in the RAAA in extra base hits with 51, aided the Canton cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first. For the game, the first baseman went 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Fugate told the Canton Gazette.
The Paczkis bumped their record to 75-67 with this latest triumph.
