Vancouver and Astoria duked it out at Stanley Park and the Canadians came out victorious.

Vancouver Canadians starter David Peralta was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Astoria Argonauts, 5-2. Vancouver is now 63-80, Astoria 60-84.

The Canadians got a big at-bat from left fielder Mike Gamble. For the game, Gamble went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Vancouver a 4-2 lead.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Peralta told the Vancouver News.
