| Tight Tilt Goes to Coal Miners, 3-2 | The skies opened up and the rain fell at Ashton Gate.
Antioch third baseman Nobuatsu Nakashima made his presence felt in the 3-2 Coal Miners triumph over the Silver Lake Baristas. Nakashima went 3 for 3 with a home run and 2 singles. Antioch reliever Bernard Edgar picked up the win, bumping his record to 10-3. Colby Virella was collared with the loss.
With Antioch trailing 2-0 in the top of the fourth, Nakashima hit a fastball from Colby Virella for a solo home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Coal Miners ahead, 2-1.
"I like our mindset right now," said Antioch manager Hervé Barthélémy.
Antioch is now riding a 8-game win streak.
