| Bombers Lose, 8-4, at Phantoms Field | The Coronado Phantoms bested the Bronx Bombers by a score of 8-4, with third baseman Bob Nichols getting the main credit. On the day, Nichols went 2-4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 3 times for the Phantoms. Coronado reliever Jason Aves was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Jerry Hughes. Coronado, at 58-85, sits in last place in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division.
