Caterpillars Jolt Bears with Late Rally

Peoria rode a fine outing from starter Tony Rivera to victory over the Birmingham Bears at Edgbaston. The final score was 4-2. Peoria reliever Nick Clouse was the winner. His record is now 3-2. The losing pitcher was Daniel Farley. Birmingham now has a 8-game losing streak.

Ryosaku Nishimura made it 3-2, Peoria, in the top of the ninth when he hit a sacrifice fly. It was a big at-bat in the Caterpillars win.

"We're our own worst enemy right now," said Birmingham skipper António Álvarez.
