| Bombers Walk Off with Win | The Bronx Bombers topped the Fort Worth Cats by the score of 9-8, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Jihei Suyama. Suyama went 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Bombers on the day. Bronx reliever Zong-yuan Sang got the win, raising his record to 7-5. Adam Stickells was tagged with the loss. The Bombers' win now puts them at 76-64.
Suyama had a game-changing single in the bottom of the 11th. On a full count fastball from Jamie Newitt, he banged a run-scoring single to center, giving the Bombers a 9-8 lead. It was the 54th hit of the year for Suyama.
"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Suyama.
