| Coal Miners Bang Out 7-5 Win Versus Reno | The Antioch Coal Miners topped the Reno Rockets, 7-5, in TMLAAA action at The Coal Mine. The player of the game was Antioch right fielder Matthew Bauer. Cody Clayton, the winner, improved to 4-5. He held the Rockets to 3 earned runs on 6 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 4. Sung-your Park converted his 31st save in 37 tries.
The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth when Bauer hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Coal Miners into the lead, 6-3.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Bauer told the Antioch Observer.
