| Cats Win at Bronx, 7-1 | The Bronx Bombers got a superb performance from pitcher Nabil bin Baha, but the Fort Worth Cats still won the game, 7-1. bin Baha was named the player of the game despite the loss. He came in in relief and pitched to 17 batters . Fort Worth is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Jeremy Bassett, who is tied for 4th in the RAAA in doubles with 34, aided the Fort Worth cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the first. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Bassett, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
