Antioch designated hitter Ben Eisner played a vital role in his team's 11-4 triumph over Minneapolis. He was 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Antioch. Pat Beckett picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Ricky Juarez was tagged with the loss. The first-place Coal Miners now have a 4-game winning streak.

It could have been a different outcome for Antioch, had it not been for Esteban Herrera, the 23-year old center fielder . Herrera contributed a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put Antioch up, 3-0.
