| Bumblebees Win at Bronx, 5-2 | The Pasadena Bumblebees defeated the Bronx Bombers, 5-2, in TMLAAA action at Bronx Ballpark, with Pasadena pitcher Nick Copeland named player of the game. Copeland went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-7. Zachary Royster got the save, his 22nd in 26 chances.
Marco Antonio Guillermo, the 4th overall pick in the 2038 draft, aided the Pasadena cause with a 2-run single in the top of the first. For the game, the second baseman went 1-4. He drove in 2 runs.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Copeland.
Pasadena, now 65-72, holds 4th place in the TMLAAA Joe Torre Division.
