| Blazers Lose to Earthquakes, 4-2 | The San Francisco Earthquakes got a stellar performance from pitcher Lúcio Barrón, who handcuffed the Bloomington offense en route to a 4-2 win at Arson Arena. Owen Lewis picked up the save for San Francisco, his 1st of the year. The Earthquakes, now 3-0, have been on a roll in the early going.
The Earthquakes got a big at-bat from catcher Nelson Marcial. For the game, Marcial went 1 for 4 with a double. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave San Francisco a 2-1 lead.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Barrón said after the game.
