| Cats Win at Bowling Green, 7-5 | Bowling Green pitcher Jonathan Burton gave the Cats all they could handle, but in the end, Fort Worth left Top of the Hill with a 7-5 win. Burton allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 5.1 innings. The third-place Cats lifted their record to 74-64.
T.J. Oster helped out the Fort Worth cause in the top of the seventh inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the right fielder went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Fort Worth manager Jon Hughes.
