| Aeropostales Bang Out 11-10 Win Versus Silver Lake | The inspired effort of Silver Lake first baseman Kanne te Wierik was not enough to prevent a 11-10 loss to the Indian Wells Aeropostales. te Wierik went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Shumei Bailey picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-2. Silvino Fagundo was tagged with the loss. The Aeropostales bumped their record to 76-63 with this latest triumph.
Had Mal McClinton not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, McClinton hit a 2-run double. That made the score 10-9, in favor of the Aeropostales.
Silver Lake manager Diego Aguirre expressed his frustration after the game: "That many runs and it still wasn't enough?"
