The Joplin Fireballs got a stellar effort from pitcher Dan Fram, helping Joplin score a 2-0 win over the visiting Calgary Kodiaks. The Fireballs have now won 4 straight.

The Fireballs got a big at-bat from first baseman Aaron Myron. For the game, Myron was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 15th home run of the season gave Joplin a 2-0 lead.

Myron told a Joplin News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
