The Coal Miners got a big game from Bradley Jones, who went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. Sung-your Park was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 29 of 35 save opportunities. Had Nobuatsu Nakashima not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Nakashima hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Coal Miners.
