Paczkis Topple Sphinx with Late Rally

It was a good time at Mckinley Park, where fans came to watch the Cairo Sphinx and Canton Paczkis get after it.

Cairo right fielder Noam Foucher had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-4, to Canton at Mckinley Park. Foucher was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Canton reliever Hector Bonilla picked up the win, bumping his record to 4-1. Balamitra Sriramesh was collared with the loss.

The Paczkis got a big at-bat from third baseman Leon Castellanos. For the game, Castellanos was 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 49th hit of the season gave Canton a 5-4 lead.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Castellanos, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."

The Paczkis bumped their record to 71-64 with this latest triumph.
