Racers Topple Cats with Late Rally

Fort Worth second baseman Satomi Takano had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-6, to Bowling Green at Top of the Hill. Takano went 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The win was credited to Luis Salcido in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Adam Stickells took the loss. Bowling Green, at 62-73, sits in 4th place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division.

Arvid Schwartz was the walk-off hero for Bowling Green. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Racers right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Schwartz said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
