| Black Knights Prevail, 3-1, Over Bloomington | James Jostle pitched well, but his team, the Bloomington Blazers, still dropped a 3-1 decision to the Brooklyn Black Knights at Arson Arena. Brooklyn reliever Colin Hoffer was the winner. His record is now 1-0. James Jostle took the loss. Every game is important, even these early ones, if the Black Knights hope to make a postseason run.
Jorge Palacios, who is tied for 9th in the RCL in doubles with 7, aided the Brooklyn cause with a solo home run in the top of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 4 with a home run.
"I'm proud to wear a Brooklyn jersey," Palacios told the Brooklyn Citizen. "We played a good game and came out with the win. What more can you ask for?"
