| Death Stars Bang Out 8-2 Win Versus Bronx | Detroit Death Stars starter Alex Rivas was in fine form against the Bronx Bombers at The Death Star, leading his team to a 8-2 win. Detroit is now 78-55, 5˝ games up in the TMLAAA Joe Torre Division.
Chris Whatley, who is tied for 9th in the TAAA in extra base hits with 46, aided the Detroit cause with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"We maximized our offense today," said Detroit skipper Edgardo Gonzáles. "That makes everyone's life easier."
