| Cacti Drop Rockets with Late Score | The Albuquerque Cacti defeated the Reno Rockets, 5-3, in RCL AAA action at Red Rocket Field, with Albuquerque pitcher James Crowe named player of the game. The Cacti bumped their record to 72-62 with this latest triumph.
The Cacti got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Dustin Williams. For the game, Williams was 1 for 1 with a double. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 19th double of the season gave Albuquerque a 4-3 lead.
"It was a solid team effort," said Crowe after the game.
