| Freeze Win at Calgary, 3-2 | The Calgary Kodiaks got a superb performance from pitcher Chris Dodrill. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Minneapolis. The Freeze won the game, 3-2. In spite of the loss, Dodrill was named the player of the game. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball. The Freeze bumped their record to 73-61 with this latest triumph.
Aaron Washington helped out the Minneapolis cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the designated hitter went 2-3 with a double and a walk.
"Feels good to get the job done," Washington said after the game.
