Reno turned a good effort from starter Tony Alfonso into a win over the Billings Mustangs at Red Rocket Field. The final score was 7-1. Tom Greer converted his 2nd save in 4 tries. Reno now has a 3-game win streak.

The Rockets got a big at-bat from designated hitter Kobbe van de Pol. For the game, van de Pol went 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Reno a 2-0 lead.
