| Canadians Drop Bumblebees with Late Score | Benefiting from Vinnie Errichiello's productive game, the Vancouver Canadians downed the Pasadena Bumblebees, 6-5. Errichiello went 2 for 3 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs for the Canadians. Vancouver currently is in 5th place in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division at 60-71.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Vancouver catcher Alvaro Colon, facing Vince Johnson, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Canadians the 6-5 win.
"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Errichiello said.
