| Argonauts Get Road Win, 6-1 | Astoria rode a good effort from starter Miguel Rodríguez to beat the Fairfield Flash at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The final score was 6-1. The Argonauts move to 53-78 with the win, while the Flash drop to 71-58.
Steve Pyles, who is tied for 10th in the TAAA with a .308 batting average, aided the Astoria cause with a run-scoring triple in the top of the third. For the game, the right fielder was 3-5 with a triple and a double. He drove in 2 runs.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Rodríguez told a Astoria Observer reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
