| Bumblebees Trip Canadians in Extras | The Bumblebees grabbed a win, 5-2, at Stanley Park, overcoming a fine effort from Vancouver pitcher David Peralta. Peralta went 5.2 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The win was Zachary Royster's in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Brad Harr took the loss for Vancouver. David Benitez converted his 9th save in 13 tries.
Pasadena used the timely hitting of Bartley Alroy to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Bumblebees on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We did a lot of things right," said Alroy.
Pasadena has run its win streak to 4 in a row.
