| Seyfried on Fire: 5-for-5 for Indian Wells | Earl Seyfried found his groove in today's game versus the Astoria Argonauts and wrote his name in the league record book. His 5-for-5 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the Indian Wells Aeropostales, as the club lost the game, 11-7.
The 26-year-old first baseman told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked."
"I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Seyfried said.
Earl Seyfried singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
Presently Seyfried is batting .338 with 78 hits and 8 home runs. He has knocked in 40 runs and scored 47 times. |
