| Mustangs Double Up Albuquerque, 4-2 | The Billings Mustangs got a strong performance from pitcher Ashley Heath, who stymied the Albuquerque offense en route to a 4-2 win at Cobb Field. Heath got the win, improving to 12-4. He allowed 7 hits and walked 3 over 6.2 innings. Heath allowed 2 earned runs. The Mustangs bumped their record to 75-54 with this latest triumph.
The Mustangs got a big at-bat from right fielder Jeff Bettcher. For the game, Bettcher went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Billings a 3-2 lead.
