| Turner goes 4-for-5, Sasquatch Move to 20-9 | J.P. Turner made an impact in the 9-3 Seattle win over Maple. Turner went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The winner was Shuichi Imai, who threw 100 pitches over 6 innings. The left-hander was charged with 3 runs on 6 hits. Picking up the save was Dino De Buono, his 2nd.
Turner contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Seattle in the top of the third. With his team trailing 2-0, Turner took a changeup from Miguel Rodríguez and stroked the home run to right-center. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Sasquatch to leap in front, 3-2.
"I like our mindset right now," said Seattle manager Bob Miller.
Seattle, now 20-9, has played well in the early going.
