| Kodiaks Win at Bronx, 8-1 | The Calgary Kodiaks defeated the Bronx Bombers, 8-1, at Bronx Ballpark. Calgary right fielder Jerry Jaeger was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The Kodiaks bumped their record to 73-49 with this latest triumph.
Jaeger had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run single. The Kodiaks went on to win.
Jaeger told a Calgary News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
