| Canadians Win at Indian Wells, 7-5 | The Vancouver Canadians relied on the hitting of third baseman Ed Mathias to stop the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 7-5. For the game, Mathias went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. John Gayden got the win, improving to 7-13. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 3. Brad Harr, credited with the save, is now 9 for 10 in save opportunities.
