| Bears Lose, 8-2, at Red Rocket Field | The Reno Rockets thumped the Birmingham Bears, 8-2, at Red Rocket Field. Antonio Moran was a big reason his team got the win. Moran was 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Reno, at 50-74, occupies last place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division.
Reno took a 8-2 lead on Moran's 4th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Mike Johnson in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Reno to the win.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Moran told a Reno Times reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
