| Canadians Prevail, 7-5, Over Albuquerque | Behind a solid performance from center fielder Hugo Rodriguez, the Vancouver Canadians defeated the Albuquerque Cacti, 7-5. Rodriguez went 1 for 2 with a triple and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs for the Canadians. Vancouver, at 56-66, occupies 5th place in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division.
Rodriguez had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a run-scoring triple. The Canadians went on to win.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Rodriguez told the Vancouver News.
