| Redbirds Turn Back Minneapolis, 2-1 | The Candiac Redbirds faced a tough opponent in Minneapolis pitcher Jose Montalvo, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Ice Box by a final score of 2-1. Montalvo went 5 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Candiac reliever Juan Polonia picked up the win, bumping his record to 3-3. Jose Montalvo was collared with the loss.
