| Kalamka Hits 2 home runs in Flash Win | The Fairfield Flash topped the Silver Lake Baristas, 6-4, in RCL AAA action at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The player of the game was Fairfield first baseman Afellan Kalamka. Eduardo Fuentez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 18 of 22 save opportunities. The second-place Flash raised their record to 65-56.
Kalamka had a key at-bat for Fairfield early in the game. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and gave Fairfield an early 3-0 lead.
"It feels good to get this one," Kalamka told the Fairfield Herald.
