| Grays Stymie Belfast, Take 3-0 Win | The Grays had to overcome a fine performance from Belfast pitcher Damien Sands to grab a 3-0 win at The Death Star. Sands allowed 2 earned runs over 6.1 innings. Reliever Pete Murphy picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Damien Sands took the loss. Joe Kearns saved it for Georgia.
Bill Grant, who is on pace for 205 hits this season, aided the Georgia cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman was 2-4 with a double.
"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Grant told a Georgia Times reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
The Titanic drop to 14-15 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2038 season.
