| Aeropostales Lose, 8-2, at LaGrave Field | It was a good time at LaGrave Field, where fans came to watch the Indian Wells Aeropostales and Fort Worth Cats get after it.
The Fort Worth Cats got a strong performance from pitcher Tony Reed, who stymied the Indian Wells offense en route to a 8-2 win at LaGrave Field. Reed got the win, improving to 6-1. He allowed 2 hits and walked 1 over 5 innings. Reed allowed 1 earned run.
Glenn Sternlicht, who is tied for 4th in the RAAA in hits with 122, aided the Fort Worth cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the first. For the game, the third baseman was 1-3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Sternlicht told the Fort Worth Herald.
The first-place Cats, at 68-52, now lead their division by 3 games.
