| Bombers Get One-Run Win at Antioch | Both teams had their chances, but the Bronx Bombers eventually prevailed at The Coal Mine.
Bronx third baseman Ignacio Ochoa was instrumental in his team's 7-6 win over the Antioch Coal Miners. Ochoa went 2-3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Bombers. The Bombers bumped their record to 69-50 with this latest triumph.
Ochoa had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-1 cutter from Cody Clayton, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Bombers a 7-6 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Ochoa.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Bronx manager Glen Slaughter.
