| Victory Pushes Sphinx Record to 65-55 | Cairo starter Ron Ogden put a stranglehold on the Reno offense. The right-hander had complete command of his slider in leading the Sphinx to a 6-0 win. In 7.1 innings, Ogden surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. Bappaka Ramanakoppa, credited with the save, is now 3 for 3 in save opportunities.
The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the third inning, but Ogden was able to pitch out of a jam. With the bases loaded and Reno trailing 2-0, Ogden retired Matt Sullivan, who flied out.
The Sphinx bumped their record to 65-55 with this latest triumph.
