Alroy Lifts Bumblebees to 10-4 Win

Pasadena left fielder Bartley Alroy was instrumental in his team's 10-4 win over the Reno Raiders. Alroy went 3-5 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Bumblebees. Miguel García got the win, improving to 4-5. He worked 5.2 innings, giving up 4 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 4. The Bumblebees' win now puts them at 58-60.

Alroy had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a bases-clearing triple. The Bumblebees went on to win.

In postgame comments to the Pasadena Herald, Alroy said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
