| Prest on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Birmingham | 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Silver Lake's Vernon Prest made it happen today against the Bears. Everything came together at the plate for the 25-year-old third baseman as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Baristas to a 5-4 win at Edgbaston.
"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Prest said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."
Vernon Prest hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
