The Albuquerque Cacti dealt the Indian Wells Aeropostales a 7-0 loss at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Jorge Hernández was the star on offense. He went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Albuquerque reliever Britt Diaz picked up the win, bumping his record to 4-1. John Huo was collared with the loss. The Cacti' win now puts them at 58-59.

Hernández had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Cacti went on to win.

Hernández told a Albuquerque Citizen reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
