| Bombers Stymie Astoria, Take 4-0 Win | The Astoria Argonauts and Bronx Bombers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at Golden Fleece Park.
The Bronx Bombers picked up a win at Golden Fleece Park, knocking off the Astoria Argonauts, 4-0. Starting pitcher Tony Aaron, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Bombers raised their record to 67-50.
The Bombers picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"We had a good game plan," Aaron said, "and we were able to execute it."
