| Freeze Slip Past Reno, 5-4 | The Minneapolis Freeze faced a tough opponent in Reno pitcher Jose Razo, but did just enough to pull out the victory at House of Pain by a final score of 5-4. Razo went 6 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Ted Mengel, credited with the win, is now 4-0. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3 innings. Troy King was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 10 of 12 save opportunities.
This game was not decided until late. With no one out in the top of the tenth, Aaron Washington hit a sacrifice fly. The Freeze took the lead, 5-4.
