A nice crowd turned out to see the Joplin Fireballs and Pasadena Bumblebees clash at The Hole.

The Joplin Fireballs topped the Pasadena Bumblebees, 15-2, at The Hole. Joplin center fielder Mario Ozuna earned player of the game honors. He banged out 2 singles and 1 double, while driving in 4 runs. Joplin is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Ozuna came through with some timely hitting for Joplin. With the score 2-2 in the top of the fourth and two down, Ozuna hit a 1-2 fastball for a bases-clearing double. His 6th double of the season made it 5-2, Joplin.

"They took us to the woodshed," said Pasadena manager Wilfred Brooks.
