Bears Rally For Late Win Over Flash

The Birmingham Bears topped the Fairfield Flash by the score of 7-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Joel Moroney. Moroney was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Bears on the day. Birmingham reliever Francisco Palazuelos was credited with the win, to go to 11-6. Owen Kay took the loss for Fairfield. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Bears.
