Fireballs Rally For Late Win Over Freeze

Joplin Fireballs starter Dan Fram turned in a top-notch performance against the Minneapolis Freeze at The Firepit. The result was a win for the Fireballs, 2-1. Kirk Redman, credited with the save, is now 2 for 2 in save opportunities. Joplin now sits in 4th place in the TMLAAA Joe Torre Division at 53-60.

The Fireballs got a big at-bat from second baseman Manuel Infante. For the game, Infante went 1 for 3 with a walk. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 13th hit of the season gave Joplin a 2-1 lead.

In postgame comments to the Joplin News, Fram said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
