| Paczkis Bang Out 6-5 Win Versus Vancouver | Fans who came to Stanley Park watched the Canton Paczkis and the Vancouver Canadians fight to the finish.
Canton Paczkis starter Jonathan Salas pitched a strong game against the Vancouver Canadians at Stanley Park, leading the Paczkis to a 6-5 win. Salas, now 2-1, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 8, walking 6, and allowing 2 earned runs. Rudy Cortez got the save, his 6th in 6 chances.
Canton second baseman Ming Chin contributed to the cause with a single in the top of the third. For the game, Chin went 1 for 2 with a walk.
In postgame comments to the Canton Gazette, Salas said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
